Product Description: The necklace you will be asked about over and over again. Delicate beads weave into a tribal macramé weave to evoke days gone by.

This piece is handmade in Ethiopia using recycled nickel, copper, and bronze melted down from previous war weapons. Most of the artisans who create these pieces are HIV positive and receive healthcare and literacy training in addition to job training. Once these HIV positive women begin the appropriate medication (antiretroviral meds), HIV becomes undetectable in their systems. They are able to work, and live without the effects of HIV and threat of AIDS. They are even able to have children who are free of HIV!

34″ long. Composed of upcycled metal and artillery. Metal will antique with wear and time. Handle with care.
