Warriors in Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Since 2006, the Ford Motor Company has been ramping up its efforts to fight against breast cancer with their Warriors in Pink campaign. They offer an exclusive line of clothing and accessories for sale through the Warriors in Pink website, for which 100% of the net proceeds is dedicated to the cause with donations going to various breast cancer charities that offer a wide-range of support. They are encouraging everyone, whether a survivor, co-survivor or simply someone who cares, to live out loud in the face of breast cancer.

The Warriors in Pink website features a selection of what they term “warrior wear and gear”, from apparel for men, women and children to accessories and even car decals to show the world you’re a warrior and spread the word about this important cause. For those shopping for that perfect gift idea, there’s plenty of great stuff to chose from. Most importantly, when you give a Warriors in Pink product, your gift gives twice; once to your lucky recipient, and once again to the cause. Wear the gear, show your support and spread the word.

To date Warriors in Pink has generated $3,152,403 in donations from the wear and gear sold since 2006. In addition to the merchandise for sale, Ford Warriors in Pink also uses a broad outreach approach, from sponsorship of the Komen Race for the Cure™ to inclusion in popular TV shows and magazines to endorsements by celebrities. The goal is to make the important topic of breast cancer part of everyday conversation and encourage women and men to engage in self-exams. Greater awareness can lead to earlier diagnosis, which in turn, could save lives. Become a warrior and join the fight today!
