Product Description: Designed by the Institute for Energy Efficiency at UC Santa Barbara this SOLAR LED light is compact and weighs only 4 ounces. With eight hours of sun, it will produce a minimum of four hours of light suitable for studying, reading, medical or dental use or great for power outages. It has an adjustable goose neck and is water resistant. There is one single rechargeable nickel metal hydride (NiMH) standard AA battery size (expected life of about two years).
