stopTHINKshop Social Good Holiday Pop-up by TYTHEdesign

Product Description: With the holidays just weeks away, we are thrilled to announce that TYTHEdesign will be curating its second stopTHINKshop – a pop-up shop for conscious consumerism open December 11th-15th at 37 E. 1st street (between 1st and 2nd ave) from 12p – 8p daily. The shop will offer a wide range of both global and local social good products from over 30 vendors including Indego Africa, Given Goods, Sseko Designs, and Mohawk Paper. If you are looking for household items such as soaps and towels, accessories such as jewelry and handbags, or toys such as stuffed animals and kits, the shop is the place to be! We invite you to stop before you purchase, think about the story of each product, and shop while feeling good.

The Good: The shop is curated to highlight the social element that designers are integrating into their products considering sustainability, ethical business models and locally sourced goods. With stopTHINKshop we remind consumers that they can help shape the way things are designed and businesses are run through how and what they choose to buy. In addition, we encourage the work of designers that are focused on positive impact and hope to influence other designers to follow a similar route.
